Varsity Head Coach: Paul Berg has been the only Coach in the nine year history of Coronado Basketball. With more than 12 years of Head Coaching Experience, Coach Berg has won more than 206 games. Coach Berg holds a B.S. and Masters Degree from UNLV. Coach Berg is the Dean of Students at Burkholder Middle School
Varsity Assistant Coach: Jeff Kaufman is in his third year at Coronado, with more than 10 years of coaching experience. Coach Kaufman won a Nevada State Championship in basketball as a player for Valley High School where he was named All-State 1st Team. Coach Kaufman has B.S from the University of Southern California.
JV Head Coach: Luke Jackson starts his First campaign as the JV head coach. An outstanding motivator, and favorite of many of the Coronado Athletes, Coach Jackson is expecting a great season for the JV Team. Coach Jackson is a UNR graduate with a degree in Biology, he played high school basketball for Gorman.
B-Team Head Coach: Kevin Poulson is starting his First season as the B-Team Head Coach. An offensive specialist, Coach Paulson brings experience and energy to the program.
Cheer Coach: Dawn Starry has been the Cheer Coach since Coronado’s inception in 2000 . Ms. Starry is a graduate of Northern Arizona University. Aside from being the Cheer Coach she is an Honors English Teacher.
Jenna Levy is in her first year as the Trainer at Coronado. Ms. Levy oversees all athletic injuries and works in coordination with local physicians to insure each athletes health and safety.
